In today's meeting, the Board of Directors of the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands (APB) approved the decision to request the company Ocibar to manage moorings and commercial premises in Botafoc Harbour Station at the Port of Ibiza for a two-year period, extendable for a further 12 months.

This company's proposal was considered the most cost-effective solution by the APB and was granted administrative approval to develop a total surface area of 45,089 m2 of land space, on which a number of buildings for commercial use will be built, and 52,826 m2 of water surface area, where mooring services will be provided for 432 boats distributed across 5 piers.

7 bids were submitted to the tender and the improvements proposed by Ocibar come to a total of 3,596,332.90 euros per year. The annual occupancy rate to be improved by the tenderers was 2,307,533.78 euros per year. In total, fees plus improvements amount to 5,903,866.68 euros, plus the four per cent turnover.
